ACTIVITIES & OUTCOMES RESULTS


ACTIVITIES:

1. Organize a four day Forum in Lome, Togo in April 2005
2. Conduct training in the areas of Leadership, Governance and Networking as part of the Forum
3. Organize a West African Youth-Parliamentary Action Group to follow up the activities of the forum

OUTCOME:


The West African Youth Network and the participants will do the project evaluation. The evaluation will be done on two levels:
1. Seminars’ realization
  • The success of the mobilization of the necessary financial resources
  • The mobilization of young people and MP
  • Correct and full realization of the Forum
    2. The follow up of the Project Activities
  • Setting up of a West African Youth-Parliamentarian Action Group on NEPAD
  • Increased Involvement of youth and MPs in democratic processes
  • Increased of the commitment for Human Rights issues and democracy in West Africa
  • Increased Commitment on NEPAD
  • a regional pool of democrats
