Who is a child and why must he/she give much attention now than when old enough to take care of him/herself ?Why must we be so much preoccupied with him/her?
These are few of the numerous questions the reflector has come to answer. The child is the newly born human being, it is the child that will take over from you as father for the male child and as mother for the female, he/she will do lots more to refurbish our society.
We as parents, guardians or teacher should see it as a privilege that these little ones are under our care. God gave them to us (Ps 127: 3) and he expects us to nurture and bring them in line with his ways. Proverbs 22:6 says train up a child in the ways he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it. That is the challenge facing us now as parents, guardians or teacher because the child will grow to become what we made him/her.
What do we do then and what are the raw materials before us the achievement of these tasks? The GCM is just out to illuminate our minds with Biblical injunctions and tested principles that will make our children the lights and salt of this generation and the ones to come.
Since it easer to build children than to mend men. Let us build our children now, they will surely grow up to become worthy ambassadors especially in this twenty first century.
GCM will discus about children their world, feeling and all that should be done to make them the light and salt of their generation.
